Melissa started her self-publishing journey in 2013 with her book Swallow Me, NOW! and has since published picture books, middle-grade books, writing prompt books and more. You can find out more about her books here.
She started Self-Publishing Bestie in 2025 after a number of friends asked her to help with uploading the files for their books to Amazon, Ingram Spark, and Draft2Digital. They didn’t want to learn how to do it themselves and Melissa realised there was a need for a service like this.
Melissa is able to help with various aspects of your self-publishing journey, from looking at options to recommending service providers, to uploading the files.
She currently lives near Phillip Island in Victoria, Australia.
